Patrick Mahomes’ Age: His Birthday And Nfl Career Milestones

So, there I was, watching the Chiefs vs. Bills game last Sunday, and I'm thinking to myself, "Man, Mahomes is playing like he's in his prime, but how old is he again?" I mean, the guy's got an arm like a cannon and a smile that could light up a stadium, but his age is one of those things that always slips my mind. So, I figured it was high time we talked about Patrick Mahomes' age, his birthday, and some of those incredible NFL career milestones he's already racking up.

Birthday Boy

Alright, let's get the big question out of the way. Patrick Mahomes II was born on September 17, 1995. That's right, folks, he's a Virgo, which explains why he's always so precise on the field. Now, I know what you're thinking, "He can't be that young!" But trust me, the math checks out. He's just a baby in NFL years, and yet, he's already making waves like a seasoned vet.

Now, you might be wondering, how does a guy who's barely old enough to rent a car become one of the best quarterbacks in the league? Well, that's where the magic of NFL career milestones comes in.

From Texas Tech to the NFL

Mahomes' journey to the big leagues started at Texas Tech University, where he played college football from 2014 to 2016. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and the rest, as they say, is history.

But let's rewind for a second. Did you know that Mahomes was the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50 touchdowns in a single season? That's right, in his second season in the league, no less. And he did it with style, breaking Peyton Manning's record of 49 touchdowns in a single season. Not bad for a kid who's still renting cars, huh?

Super Bowl LIV MVP

Now, let's talk about the big one. Super Bowl LIV. Mahomes led the Chiefs to a thrilling 31-20 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, becoming the second-youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl at the age of 24. And he didn't just win it, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the game, too. I mean, can this guy do anything wrong?

Oh, and did I mention he's the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 passing yards? He did it in just 33 games, breaking another record held by none other than Peyton Manning. I tell you, Mahomes is making a habit out of breaking records and making history.

Mahomes' Legacy in the Making

So, there you have it. Patrick Mahomes is just getting started, and he's already leaving his mark on the NFL. I mean, the guy's got a cannon for an arm, a smile that can light up a stadium, and a list of achievements that's longer than my grocery list on game day. And he's not even 30 yet!

I don't know about you, but I'm excited to see what the future holds for this young gun. Will he break more records? Will he lead the Chiefs to another Super Bowl victory? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure, Mahomes is a force to be reckoned with, and he's just getting started. So, here's to you, Patrick Mahomes. Keep making history, one record-breaking throw at a time.
