Buffalo's Got Moves?

That's right! Our city's not just about the Bills and the wings. We've got a secret sauce when it comes to dance too. So, grab your dancing shoes, 'cause we're about to spill the beans on our local DWTS scene.

Who's Leading the Dance?

Meet Dance Tonight Buffalo, our city's official DWTS crew. They're the ones keeping our toes tapping and our spirits high. Led by the dynamic duo, DWTS pros Jana Pavlenkova and Vladimir Plakhotnik, this team knows how to turn beginners into ballroom badasses.

But here's the kicker - these pros aren't just about the fancy footwork. They're all about the community. They believe everyone should have the chance to dance, no matter their age, skill, or experience. So, whether you're a seasoned salsa queen or a two-left-footed newbie, there's a place for you on their dance floor.

Quirky Facts: Buffalo's Dance Scene

Did you know Buffalo was once home to the world's largest disco ball? Yeah, you read that right! It was a whopping 16 feet in diameter and hung in the old Memorial Auditorium. Now, that's what we call setting the stage for some groovy moves!

And speaking of groovy, did you know our city has a secret love affair with swing dancing? The Buffalo Swing Dance Society has been keeping our city's rhythm alive since 1996. They're all about the vintage vibes, with regular dances featuring live music and lessons for all levels.

Why We Love It

So, why should you care about all this dancing business? Well, aside from the obvious - who doesn't love a good twirl? - dancing is proven to boost your mood, keep you fit, and even improve your brain health. Plus, it's a fantastic way to connect with our community, meet new people, and make some unforgettable memories.

And hey, who knows? You might just find yourself doing the foxtrot at your next Bills game. Stranger things have happened in Buffalo, right?
